Should Mt. Ascutney’s name be changed to Kaskadenak?
You may have seen Windsor’s Post about the petition to change the name of Mt. Ascutney. The Town of Weathersfield has also received a notice from the Vermont Board of Libraries that they would be considering this petition, at their July 17th meeting to change the name of Mt. Ascutney to Kaskadenak. The Selectboard will all be discussing the matter at their next meeting on July 16th, 2018 at the Center Meeting Church @ 7:00PM. We would also ask that you respond to the Town of Windsor’s Survey which will be presented to the board of libraries at or prior to the hearing (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XXJT5JR).
